XEL

Hadis Fard (XEL) is a human being, and a plant ally, living and creating in the ancestral land of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and shíshálh nations. She is a multidimensional artist, AV composer, and poet using sound, music, geometry, and code to create multi-sensory experiences and bridge art and technology. Hadis' muses are rooted in the eco-feminine, mythology, spirituality, and collective consciousness.

She has performed and exhibited in various festivals and venues locally and internationally, and her works have been acknowledged by the Canada Council for the Arts. Hadis' purpose and community service is to live by earth-oriented practices within communities and bring an integrated, authentic feminine voice to areas less heard; she finds community in diversity.
