Scree Running

Scree Running is the electronic music alias of Matt Howells. After a whirlwind stint of exclusively playing and singing in bands with hyphenate genres, they emerged into adulthood with a computer full of depreciated plugins, a literature degree, a failed year in Montreal, and a desire to market these versatile ingredients in the only way that makes sense: by producing, DJing, and performing experimental electronic music. After a love drunk move to Victoria and a lucky induction into the the city’s underground dance music crew Resonance Collective, they happily spend their time cooking up electronic music, DJing overemotionally and hypnotically, playing free jazz to people eating spaghetti, and performing live PA sets.
