Skytrain field recordings, gently mixed and layered in Ableton Live and re-recorded to 1/4 inch magnetic recording tape as a study of the original skytrain route, main to new west. no input mixer bass drones will ooze and moire along in tune and style dictated by the skytrains sonic soundscapes. paired with a transit authority film from the 1980s available on youtube known as "Goin to Town" which runs roughly 28 minutes and is comprised of original skytrain footage, of its inner working and how it shaped the city of Vancouver at the time.
